Inter Club Challenge
The inter club Challenge was started in 2018 between Shepparton and District Car Club and Swan Hill Sporting Car Club.
It started with one 2 day round at each clubs track with a good number of competitors making the trip over to each club. Being declared a success we decided to make 2019 2 rounds of 2 day events at each clubs tracks.
At the end of 2019 it was decided that the only thing we could do wrong with this was to not keep do it. 2020 will also see 2 rounds of 2 day events at each clubs tracks.
The rounds have been made test and tunes so each club can grow there clubs by allowing passengers to ride along, this is a great tool for helping newer members learn how to get better car control by allowing instructors in there cars and for people on the sidelines that may have some interest to get a first hand look at the sport simply by asking for a ride.
The challenge is simple, one point for the quickest in each class per day the formula has worked well and is great fun with each club helping each other with what ever they can.
We make these events 2 days to allow good track time at each location and social night in the centre to bring people together and it works.
